Johns Lyng Group is seeking a highly strategic and operational National Escape of Liquid (EOL) Manager to lead, standardise, and scale our specialised water damage and leak detection restoration services nationwide. This position can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

Johns Lyng Group is seeking a highly strategic and operational National Escape of Liquid (EOL) Manager to lead, standardise, and scale our specialised water damage and leak detection restoration services nationwide.
Escape of Liquid represents one of the highest-volume claim categories in the insurance building sector. In this role, you will take full multi-state operational ownership of our national EOL delivery framework. Leading through a team of established state and business managers, you will ensure our specialist restoration teams deploy advanced leak detection, mitigation, and drying technologies rapidly, safely, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
National Multi-State Oversight: Direct the operational and financial performance of all Escape of Liquid insurance restoration jobs across Australia.
Leadership of Leaders: Manage, mentor, and lead accountability to drive consistent operational excellence nationwide.
Process & Tech Standardisation: Establish best-practice national frameworks for rapid leak containment, structural drying, and microbial remediation.
Key Insurer Relationships: Act as the primary strategic partner and escalation point for tier-one insurance clients
WHS Champion: Demonstrate visible field presence to lead, audit, and embed strict Workplace Health & Safety compliance across worksites.
Data-Driven Performance: Monitor, analyse, and report on key national operational and financial KPIs utilising digital reporting tools.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Operations Leadership: 7-10+ years of senior operations experience within insurance building, restoration, or trades management, featuring a clear multi-state remit.
Leading Leaders: 3+ years of proven experience directly managing, coaching, and developing State or Business Leaders.
Industry Background: Experience working with major insurance companies preferably managing major portfolios
Education & Trade: A relevant Trade Qualification or a Diploma/Bachelor in Building & Construction is highly regarded.
Safety & Systems: Strong field-based WHS leadership experience alongside high proficiency in Microsoft 365 and data-driven KPI reporting tools.
Mobility: A current, unrestricted Australian driver's licence and the flexibility to undertake regular national travel.
