About the Role

The role coordinates the identification, planning, development, testing and delivery of business change and related systems change.

The role is Temporary Full-time position until 30 June 2027.

About the NSW Electoral Commission

The New South Wales Electoral Commission delivers trusted and independent systems, processes, oversight and engagement that support democracy in New South Wales. Our vision is to maintain confidence in the integrity of the democratic process and make it easy for people to understand and participate.

Our work includes:

Running and regulating elections

Communicating and engaging with current and future voters, key NSW community stakeholders and NSW election participants; and

Investigating possible offences and enforcing electoral and lobbying laws such as the Electoral Act 2017 and the Electoral Funding Act 2018.

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements

As the successful candidate, you will have:

Experience working in a project support role with strict timeframes and deadlines.

Experience in analysing and applying new business system functions to business process documentation.

Experience in supporting change activities relating to the introduction of new business system functions.

Experience in the preparation, review or execution of user acceptance test cases for technology projects.

Intermediate skills and experience in using MS Word and Excel, records management applications, project management applications and CRMs (e.g. Salesforce).

Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.

Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.

The role is primarily based at 231 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, with hybrid working arrangements. However, leading onto the election support periods, this role requires full-time onsite attendance.
