What You’ll Be Doing

Test Strategy, Planning and Design: Leads comprehensive test planning by managing efforts around estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation. Analyses requirements and designs thoroughly for testability and risks, while actively supporting and implementing the overall testing strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Test Execution Oversight and Defect Management: Oversees all testing activities, including system, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing. Manages the defect lifecycle effectively, ensuring accurate logging, tracking, and resolution. Ensures test environments and data are consistently ready and available for testing activities. Peer review test cases, in line with enterprise quality standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting: Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders such as developers, product owners, and project managers. Clearly communicates testing progress, results, risks, and issues, providing actionable insights and detailed test reports to stakeholders.

Quality Improvement and Mentorship: Actively drives continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Mentors and coaches junior test engineers, fostering their professional growth and technical development.

What Sets You Apart

7+ years of hands-on testing experience across full‑stack applications, including extensive automation, test planning, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Expertise in developing automated UI and API test suites using tools such as Playwright, Supertest, Axios, Postman, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

Strong background in performance testing (Artillery.io, JMeter, Lighthouse) and cross‑browser/device testing using platforms like BrowserStack.

Proficient with Azure DevOps and dedicated test management tools (e.g., BrowserStack Test Management, Xray) for end‑to‑end test case management, execution tracking, and defect lifecycle handling.

Experience leveraging AWS services for testing, with desirable exposure to Salesforce and WordPress environments for both custom and standard functionality testing.

Skilled in analysing and enhancing testing strategies, diagnosing complex defects, and working within regulated industry environments such as finance or utilities.

Experience using AI-powered tools to improve test automation, test design, defect analysis, reporting, and overall testing efficiency.
