Position Summary:

The Project Manager oversees commercial and/or multi-family electrical projects from inception to completion. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and executing while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and manage all phases of electrical projects, including scheduling, procurement, and installation.

Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure project goals are met.

Prepare and maintain project schedules and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as necessary.

Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, resolve issues, and ensure milestones are on track.

Manage project documentation, change orders, RFI’s, submittals, and closeout processes.

Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and deliverables.

Support procurement of materials and subcontractor services in collaboration with purchasing teams.

Drive performance by mentoring field staff and ensuring adherence to productivity and quality benchmarks.

Requirements:

Proven experience (5+ years) managing electrical projects, ideally in commercial or multi-family settings

Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and construction project management practices

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field ( preferred)

PMP certification or electrical contractor license is a plus

Working Environment:

Primarily field-based with regular office reporting

Travel between job sites as required

Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high expectations for safety and performance.

Compensation
