Our Mercedes-Benz R&D Atlanta office is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure we deliver the highest quality connected car mobile application to our USA Customers, Mercedes-Benz products and technologies, including our new generation of EV models.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst who is responsible for the testing of our mobile applications aimed at a range of iOS/Android devices including mobile phones and wearables. Your primary focus will be development of test-cases, testing execution and quality reporting, and preparing and presenting management level defect dashboards. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on new feature development. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Job Responsibilities:
Define Test Cases for Mobile App from user stories for the iOS/Android platform.
Functional Testing of the Mobile App for all Connected Features including Alexa/Google.
Work with a team physically at location to be involved in every step of process and understanding the requirements.
Provide QA insights to dev team during design and implementation to increase code quality and testability
Support the installation, operation, maintenance of all test devices and test vehicles.
Document findings, track defects, and re-run failed test cases or scripts in accordance with customer requests
Participate in team meetings by effectively communicating the status of any impediments to progress
Conduct status meetings with PO and other stakeholders and provide Testing & Defect Status
Provide a Defect & Test Progress report to management
Technically savvy to investigate issues in logs and report
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience
Defect Management tools (STARC), Confluence, Jira, Azure Log Analytics
Experience testing Android and iOS applications
Ability to capture iOS and Android logs, proactively monitor crashes, and create tickets for identified issues
Knowledge of Mobile based technologies and UI/UX standards
Understanding of mobile design principles and interface guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree with emphasis in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Telecommunication, or related degree

This position may involve access to export-controlled technology, hardware, or software under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C.F.R. Parts 730-774 and possibly technical data, defense articles and defense services subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. Parts 120-130. As such, Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America may be required to obtain an export license or authorization in accordance with United States law.
