Business Overview

The Marketing Division leads brand, creative, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.

We believe that the mobile domain is a platform that plays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.

Department Overview

Marketing Planning Department is an organization that leads the planning of Rakuten Mobile's plans and product strategies and their implementation.

The Data ARPU Group, to which you will be assigned, is responsible for maximizing ARPU from Rakuten Mobile users’ data usage. Its scope includes planning and operating initiatives, as well as designing and executing campaigns.

You will also work with the Rakuten Eagles and Vissel Kobe to plan and execute campaigns and events aimed at acquiring Rakuten Mobile users.

As we move into the next growth phase after surpassing 10 million lines, you will develop new initiatives based on current-state analysis.

You will drive higher data ARPU, create Rakuten Mobile–unique added value through sports marketing, and revenue.

Position:

Position Details

You will be entrusted with the following tasks related to Rakuten Mobile, depending on your experience and skills.

- Plan and run initiatives to increase data ARPU

- Plan and run campaigns/events with the Rakuten Eagles and Vissel Kobe to acquire Rakuten Mobile users

- Define and execute the communication strategy for planned initiatives

- Coordinate and negotiate with partner companies

- Identify and develop new partner companies to drive ARPU growth

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experience in developing and improving strategies based on data analysis

- Practical experience in one of the following areas: marketing, business planning, sales planning, service planning, or alliance development

- Planning skills

- Flexible communication, negotiation, and bargaining skills both internal and external

- Leadership (e.g. Experience leading and building consensus in challenging situations)

- Practical skills in PowerPoint and Excel

Desired Qualifications:

- Project management experience

- Logical thinking

- Ability to flexibly respond to changes in the environment, and to lead solutions by running on one's own while coordinating with all related parties.

- Flexible communication, negotiation-Those who have experience in consulting, the president's office of a business company, or corporate planning.

- Business English

- Experience in telecommunications industry

- Knowledge and experience in the mobile industry

- Experience Using BI Tools

- Skills for Applying and Advancing AI in Practical Settings
