About the role
ABHITO LLC is hiring an AI Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimize prompts for our enterprise AI products and client-facing agentic AI solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI outputs.
Responsibilities:
Design and iterate on system prompts, few-shot examples, and chain-of-thought frameworks
Work with RAG pipelines to improve retrieval accuracy and response quality
Evaluate and benchmark AI outputs against defined quality criteria
Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI quality teams
Document prompt engineering patterns and best practices
Support AI Quality practice by diagnosing hallucination and retrieval failures
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in prompt engineering or applied LLM work
Hands-on experience with Claude, GPT-4, or similar frontier models
Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding strategies
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Background in linguistics, computer science, or related field preferred
