Full Stack Developer (Backend Focus)

Ideal Candidate 10+ years of software engineering experience, strong Java + Python backend development, hands-on AWS (Lambda/Fargate) expertise, experience building REST APIs and microservices, working knowledge of Angular, familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, active use of GenAI coding tools, and preferably experience in financial services or regulated environments. Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on backend development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable applications and REST APIs using Java and Python, working within AWS cloud environments, and contributing to modern web applications using Angular. The team is heavily investing in Generative AI tools to improve developer productivity and expects candidates to be comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development workflows. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs. Build and support microservices using Java and Python. Develop and enhance frontend components using Angular. Work with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver business solutions. Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily software engineering workflows. Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline modernization efforts, including migration toward GitLab-based deployments. Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and application issues.
