Responsibilities:

SENIOR SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER

THE ROLE:

THE PERSON:

Candidate should be passionate about software engineering, should have good communication and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work on internal Web application tools to develop and test new features, work closely with IP and SOC teams to support the flow/tool.

Customer support handling - provide debug support and resolve queries on the tool flows, Features, methodologies etc.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of Experience in Web design and development role

Qualification:

B Tech/M Tech/BE/ME in Computer Sc/Electronics & Communication/IT OR Equivalent

Required Skill Sets:

Web based application development

Strong development experience in Web based UI development using Frameworks like Ruby on Rails OR Equivalent

Strong development experience using SQL databases, NoSQL, high performance DB design

General coding skills and familiarity

Should have good understanding on Data Structure and Algorithms.

Should have experience in writing test case scenarios and test case development.

Should have good debugging skills and hands on experience with UI debug tools

Should have experience with version control systems (eg:GIT/PERFORCE)

Should understand file formats like (JSON/YAML/XML)

Should have hands on experience with LINUX, Shell Scripting and Knowledge of Reg Ex is good to have.

Good to have CI/CD knowledge.

Soft skills

Person will interact with multiple teams across global AMD sites

Must have good communication skills and the ability and desire to foster a team environment.
