Senior Quality Engineer

Role description

We are searching for a Quality Assurance tester for our Night testing team 500 Pm PST to

200 am PST This role will be responsible for video testing across multiple platforms and

projects We are looking for someone who is experienced with agile scrum methodology and

can be an active participant in all scrum rituals In addition to being a representative from the

video operations team you will work closely with product management and engineering teams

This role requires going beyond running test cases as it will be responsible for ensuring the

requirements of the Technology operations team are being met

Your DaytoDay

Testing multiple videos and other video related projects both domestic and international

Testing on multiple platforms at a time

Writing bugs and verifying fixes from developers

Actively participating in daily stand up meetings

Work with Publishing team to set timelines

Show time assets Paramount assets Viacom library contents CBS assets Supporting

Exclusive movie releases

4K video testing

Qualifications

Bachelors level degree or equivalent experience

2 years of video streaming QA experience VOD and Live TV Highly experienced with

JIRA or other bug ticketing software Active experience with Agile Scrum methodology

Knowledgeable of network traffic software such as Charles

Very high attention to details

Ability to juggle between multiple projects

Desire to learn the backend process of video delivery

Skills

Mandatory Skills : SQL & Database testing, User Acceptance Testing

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
