We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Construction team based on site.
Location: Site based
Hours: Flexible options available - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Project Manager, you'll be leading the day-to-day design and construction of projects valued up to £15m. You'll work collaboratively with your team to deliver projects safely, within budget, to programme and quality expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction every step of the way. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, working on diverse projects across key sectors including education, health, defence, and aviation.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering high-quality projects. Your day to day will include:
Leading the safety, health, environmental and wellbeing culture across your project
Managing subcontractors and suppliers, building strong relationships and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards
Overseeing project delivery, including programme management, design coordination and quality control
Managing project finances, revenue, costs and cashflow to maximise profitability
Line managing project staff, conducting performance reviews and supporting their development
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if:
You have experience leading operational projects and knowledge of contract conditions within the construction industry
You hold or are working towards professional membership (e.g. CIOB, RICS) and have CSCS and SMSTS qualifications
You're an excellent communicator who can influence at all levels and build strong relationships
You have sound commercial awareness with a commitment to health, safety and risk management
You're highly organised, proactive and driven to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
