What You'll Be Doing:
As a DevOps intern, you'll support the development of software products, processes, and supporting systems while collaborating with expert professionals to accomplish development objectives and oversee software releases. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing basic DevOps activities, including the maintenance, monitoring, documenting, and testing of product builds and packaging to provide quality production builds
Preparing, configuring, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining build agents to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Collaborating with IT teams to maintain and optimize DevOps infrastructure
Working closely with development teams to adjust builds and packaging to meet changing requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Learning and growing under the guidance of experienced staff and the DevOps Manager, with opportunities to develop your technical skills and industry knowledge
What You'll Need:
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering in the Weimar area
Strong motivation to learn with excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
Experience with C++ and Python programming languages
Experience with automation tools such as GitHub or Azure DevOps (ADO)
Fluent English with demonstrated skills in writing, understanding, and presenting technical content
Preferred qualifications that will help you excel:
Basic understanding of build management and continuous integration software
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in geographically distributed teams

Program Length: 12 months
Location: Weimar, Germany
Working Model: In Office
Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-time (20 hours per week alongside your studies)
Start Date: August 2026
