Role Purpose

The Senior Marketing Manager at Coca‑Cola Mexico is responsible for leading and executing high‑impact, end‑to‑end marketing initiatives that drive sustainable brand growth in the Mexican market. This role is accountable for designing and implementing integrated marketing strategies aligned with commercial and financial objectives, ensuring excellence in execution through strong project management and cross‑functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

Design and execute integrated marketing strategies that accelerate sustainable brand growth and align with business and financial goals.

Translate complex strategies into clear, actionable plans with a strong focus on results and execution.

Lead high‑impact marketing initiatives, ensuring delivery of short‑ and mid‑term objectives and KPIs.

End‑to‑End Project & Stakeholder Management

Lead end‑to‑end marketing projects through best‑in‑class project management, from strategy and briefing to execution and post‑launch review.

Coordinate and influence cross‑functional internal teams and key external partners, including creative, media, and innovation agencies.

Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring quality, accuracy, and on‑time delivery in a fast‑paced environment.

Influence without direct authority, fostering alignment, collaboration, and accountability.

Integrated Marketing Communications & Activation

Lead the development and execution of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) campaigns and brand innovation projects end‑to‑end.

Own the development and alignment of marketing briefs, oversee the creative process, and approve final campaign deliverables.

Partner closely with commercial, bottling, and customer teams to ensure strong execution by channel and at the point of sale.

Drive brand and shopper activation programs, ensuring consistency across touchpoints.

Business Analysis & Insights

Lead business and performance analysis to identify key growth drivers, opportunities, and strategic levers.

Leverage data and insights to inform decision‑making and generate actionable recommendations.

Actively manage performance, incorporating test‑and‑learn approaches and continuous optimization.

Financial & Commercial Acumen

Demonstrate strong financial understanding (NSR, OI, margins) to support growth recommendations within the LRP and ABP.

Drive continuous improvement of core brand and business metrics, including weekly consumers, basket incidence, and brand equity.

Collaborate closely with bottlers and commercial teams to deliver integrated execution plans.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Experience

5–7 years of experience in Marketing and/or Commercial roles, preferably within Coca‑Cola or consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies.

Proven experience developing and executing marketing activation plans and consumer programs.

Track record of leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives with measurable business impact.

Core Capabilities

Advanced project management and execution skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels and external partners.
