We are currently seeking a Windows Application Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Windows Application Engineer

We are looking for Windows Application Engineer/packager with 3-5 years of experience to help Engineer, Migrate and Support the Firm's Windows Desktop Services

mainly focusing on migration building custom software packages to meet the company’s needs and involve in the support activities.

Responsibilities

Work with a global team of highly motivated platform engineers and software developers

Develop, test, and deliver software packages for distribution to user’s desktops.

Author scripts and integrate them with App Packages

Perform Quality analysis and UAT for delivered packages.

Migrate/Deploy App packages using enterprise software deployment tools like MECM and Tanium

Work with Applications owners\users to troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified via standard ticketing tools like JIRA and ServiceNow

Work with a global team of highly motivated platform engineers and software developers

Basic Qualifications

In-depth knowledge in Windows Operating Systems and Windows Installer (MSI) technology

Extensive Experience with using any Windows packaging studio for building enterprise installers.

Extensive experience with one or more scripting technologies: PowerShell, VBS, SQL, Windows Batch

Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex and escalated Application issues.

Experience with an enterprise software deployment toolset: MECM/InTune or Tanium

Hands-on experience with InTune, MSI, WIX and MSIX

Sound knowledge of Active Directory Services and Global Group Policies

Working Knowledge on popular ticketing systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Enterprise-level Financial Services experience is preferred.

Team player who can work in a fast paced, environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skill and able to work with remote counterparts internally

Strong data skills with MS Excel is preferred
