About the job
This role supports the Director of External Communications and Public Relations in delivering global external communications for two large segments.
At Nouryon, we are looking for a talented Communications Manager to help elevate our external communications agenda across Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East & Africa.
In this highly visible role, you will work closely with senior business leaders and become a trusted advisor in shaping how Nouryon is perceived by customers, media, industry stakeholders, and communities around the world.
In your future role as External Communications & Public Relations Manager you will
Build strong relationships with European trade media, and also media in the Americas and MEA based on business needs.
Develop media outreach strategies for Resource Solutions and Performance Materials segments – across Europe, Americas and MEA.
Proactively pitch stories and secure coverage that reinforces Nouryon’s leadership in specialty chemicals and innovation.
Monitor media trends and provide counsel to protect and enhance corporate reputation.
We believe you bring
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
(5-10 years) of experience in external communications, PR, or corporate affairs, ideally in B2B or industrial sectors.
Proven track record in media relations, and strategic communications planning.
Strong understanding of European media landscape
Excellent writing (AP style) and storytelling skills
