Data and machine learning are at the heart of their strategy, driving more relevant customer experiences, personalised marketing, and customer-centric decision-making across the business.

They are looking for a Data Science Manager to lead a high-performing team of Data Scientists focused on delivering measurable customer and commercial impact. This is a highly visible leadership role sitting at the intersection of data science, customer insight, personalisation, and business strategy.

The Opportunity

As the Data Science Manager, you’ll lead both the technical direction and development of the team, helping shape the roadmap for how machine learning and advanced analytics are used to better understand customers and deliver personalised experiences at scale. You will be responsible for translating complex customer and behavioural data into clear, actionable recommendations. You’ll establish best practices across experimentation, customer modelling, MLOps, and data science delivery, while supporting the continued growth of the organisation’s customer analytics and AI capabilities.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience leading or managing Data Science teams in a commercial environment

Strong background in machine learning, customer analytics, personalisation, or statistical modelling

Experience developing customer-focused models

Strong stakeholder management skills

Experience delivering data science products and models into production environments
