Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and modern Android architecture components, with a focus on delivering scalable and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

Build responsive, secure, and high-performance applications.

Implement clean architecture patterns such as MVVM/MVP.

Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.

Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.

Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Android best practices.

Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.

Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.

Required Skills

4+ years of experience in Android application development.

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.

Experience with Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, WorkManager).

Strong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Design Patterns.

Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON parsing, and Retrofit/OkHttp.

Hands-on experience with local databases such as Room or SQLite.

Knowledge of Git/GitHub or other version control systems.

Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger.

Understanding of Material Design guidelines and responsive UI development.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Jetpack Compose.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store.

Understanding of app security and performance optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
