JOB PURPOSE:
The Technical Product owner contributes to requirement analysis & clarification, User story creation, of Caterpillar’s state-of-the-art digital application.
JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the Development Team
Experience on Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Assets
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the Product Backlog according to business value for the life of the product
Communicate Product Backlog priorities to the team
Act as the decision-maker regarding what features the product will have
Assists with the elaboration of epics, themes and features into user stories that are small enough, or granular enough, to be achieved in a single sprint
Responsible for conveying the vision and goals at the beginning of every sprint
Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization
Responsible for making decisions on release dates and content
Represent the customer, interfacing and engaging with the customer
Participate in Daily Scrum as needed
Participate in Sprint Planning meetings, Retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
Inspect the product progress at the end of every Sprint and accept or reject the work that as been done by the Development Team
Act as the voice of the team, communicating status stakeholder.
Be a good role model of Scrum values; understand the framework and the roles of each team member
Be a champion for the agile community and help to further the community within the organization
Basic qualifications:
Position requires a four-year degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
5+ years of experience in requirement analysis of software applications in eCommerce (B2B)
8+ years of Software Industry experience.
Top candidates will also have proven experience in the following:
Strong business and technical vision
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
A deep understanding of software development
Have a strong Business Analysis skills and ability to translate requirements to enterprise software features.
Have strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
Should have excellent communication.
Should be energetic, team player, eager to learn and grow.
Should be self-driven and passionate professional.
Have knowledge of Azure DevOps or any other agile tool.
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technologies and approaches to solving problems.
Have skilled in breaking down problems and estimating efforts.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban development process.
