Reporting to the Director, Workplace Experience, and working closely with all members of the Talent Acquisition team, the driving mission for our Advisor, Candidate Experience is to create and support an inspiring and engaging PHSA employer brand, drive attraction and awareness, and ensure an effective and efficient candidate user experience. As such, the Advisor, Candidate Experience develops and recommends marketing plans and strategies designed to meet strategic goals and improve recruitment services and practices that maximize PHSA’s brand, and promotes the organization as one of BC’s top employers.

Duties/Accountabilities:

Lead and drive talent acquisition campaigns designed to drive awareness and attraction of talent on a large and high volume scale.

Work with various colleagues on brand identity development – bringing an aligned set of Employer Value Propositions to life, designed to create and drive PHSA’s employer brand through compelling content across our audiences

Drive advertising planning and targeted recruitment campaigns; analyze and interpret results to provide insights and suggest improvements.

Ensure high functioning and impactful internal and external job websites from front to back end. Align with corporate site, and ensure best practices across all campaigns and search engines.

Leveraging online technology and branded storytelling, drive overall digital marketing strategy including maximizing optimization and managing digital marketing campaigns (pay per click advertising etc.)

Create strategy and recommendations for social media and e-marketing campaigns in alignment with Talent Acquisition objectives.

Develop keyword research, set up audiences, and optimize for conversions and KPIs

Build and ensure consistent systems to support data tracking and analysis of digital metrics, demographics, conversion, and engagement in line with talent acquisition strategies. Analyze trends and create regular reports.

Drive user experience projects and upgrades including research, analysis, and recommendations. Work closely with IMITS, Web Services, Communications, and external vendors.

Audit and analyze existing tools and recommend solutions that increase efficiency and produce ROI for Talent Acquisition and PHSA as a whole.

Targeting PHSA staff and alumni, create recruitment engagement programs including employer reviews and employee referral program.

Direct production strategy for all HR-related marketing digital and traditional material including video production and photography.

Recommend forums, conferences and events to support the TA strategy, and develop campaigns to drive engagement pre and post.

Manage administration of contracts with vendors. Build and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders to enhance PHSA program development and implementation.

Provide support and guidance to clients by proactively and reactively resolving issues.

Special projects as assigned/required.

Qualifications:

A level of education, training and experience equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or related field plus five (5) years of recent, related experience in creating and driving integrated marketing campaigns.

Strong communicator (oral and written) with ability to build collaborative and trusting relationships with colleagues organization-wide. Ability to perform audits, and lead and engage stakeholders in digital, brand and creative projects and initiatives. Advanced knowledge and proficiency in current online technologies, social media platforms, e-marketing, and reporting analytics. Ability to establish and monitor benchmarks that measure and maximize the impact of marketing campaigns. Strong skills in Google Analytics/Jobs, SEO, SEM & Display (Google), digital advertising, email marketing, and content marketing. Experience evaluating and managing vendors. Design and layout skills including Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign are an asset, but are not required. Experience in the healthcare industry is an asset.
