About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Apprentice – Global Benefits Operations to support the handling of employee benefit-related cases across countries supported by Aon. The role will involve reviewing, processing, tracking, and resolving benefits queries and transactions in line with defined processes, service level agreements, and country-specific requirements. Aon supports multinational organizations with globally aligned and locally relevant benefits strategies across countries, making accuracy, responsiveness, and process discipline especially important in this type of work.
This internship is ideal for someone who is eager to build experience in global HR operations, benefits administration, case handling, stakeholder coordination, and service delivery within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end handling of employee benefits cases for countries supported by Aon.
Review incoming requests related to benefits and ensure cases are categorized, assigned, and processed accurately.
Respond to employee, manager, and stakeholder queries related to benefits within agreed timelines.
Validate case details and supporting documentation before processing.
Maintain accurate records in HR systems, case management tools, and trackers.
Follow country-specific process guidelines, benefit eligibility rules, and documentation requirements.
Escalate complex, high-risk, or out-of-scope cases to the appropriate team or supervisor.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support case resolution.
Monitor pending cases and follow up to ensure timely closure.
Support service delivery by adhering to defined SLA, quality, and compliance requirements.
Identify recurring issues, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement, and share observations with the team.
Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and status updates related to benefits case volumes and trends.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information at all times.
Be available to work in fluctuating shifts, including night shifts, weekends/holidays if required by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications
Graduate / final-year student / recent graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field
Basic understanding of HR operations or employee life cycle processes is an advantage
Familiarity with case management tools, HR systems, or MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) is preferred
Prior internship or academic exposure to HR/shared services/global operations is a plus
