Who we're looking for

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platforms SRE team within AC3’s Hybrid Cloud Practice. This team plays a key role in building, improving and supporting the automation, monitoring, authentication and Linux-based services that underpin AC3’s platform.

You’ll work closely with teams across AC3 to improve reliability, reduce manual effort and help maintain a secure, scalable and high-performing environment.

What you’ll do

Build, improve and automation across the platform using tools such as GitHub Actions, Ansible, Puppet and Jenkins.

Own and evolve the Linux platform fleet, including provisioning, configuration, patching, validation and break/fix activities.

Build and maintain scalable, service-aware monitoring and authentication infrastructure across the AC3 platform.

Support and improve container platforms and work with teams across AC3 to optimise, automate and integrate platform services.

What we'd love to see

Strong Linux systems administration experience, ideally with a command-line and automation focus.

Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, vRO or VMware Aria.

Experience maintaining and improving monitoring platforms in cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.

Working knowledge of Python, Bash or similar scripting languages.

Exposure to technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Terraform or OpenTofu will be highly regarded.

$120,000 - $140,000 + Superannuation + Bonus + Allowances + Generous on-call rates
