Networking Engineer

Job Title: Networking Engineer / Desktop Engineer Location: Panchkula Experience Required: 2 to 4 Years Shift: Night Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Networking Engineer/Desktop Engineer to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting desktop-related issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues

Provide desktop support including hardware, software, and OS-related issues

Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems (Windows/Linux) and applications

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity issues

Handle printer, scanner, and peripheral device support

Perform system backups and ensure data security protocols are followed

Maintain documentation of IT assets, configurations, and incidents

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution

Provide remote support and ensure minimal downtime during night operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls

Good understanding of Windows OS, basic Linux knowledge preferred

Experience in desktop troubleshooting and IT support

Familiarity with ticketing tools and remote support tools

Basic knowledge of Active Directory and user management

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently during night shifts

Preferred Skills

Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent are a plus

Experience in handling enterprise-level IT infrastructure

Exposure to cloud platforms (basic level) is an advantage

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
