About the Role
Hybrid working model – 3 days per fortnight working from home
Monday to Friday, standard business hours
Reporting to the Payroll Manager ANZ, this role is well suited to someone who enjoys analysis, problem solving, and working with numbers. If you’re curious, detail oriented, and motivated to learn, this role offers strong development opportunities.
You will work extensively with Dayforce, our global payroll and people platform, becoming a key contributor to weekly payroll processing and core HR system functions. The role also provides hands on exposure to Dayforce Payroll, Workforce Management, and Talent modules, allowing you to build strong system capability across multiple areas.
Key responsibilities include:
New team member setup and system maintenance
Reviewing rosters and timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance
Responding to payroll enquiries via the service desk ticketing system in a timely and professional manner
Supporting leaders to become confident and effective users of Dayforce
Ensuring payroll compliance with relevant Australian and New Zealand awards and legislation
Preparing payroll, people data, and metrics reporting
About you:
1 + years end-to-end payroll processing experience (desirable)
Previous experience with Dayforce, while ideal is not mandatory (we will help you learn)
Experience in interpreting industrial instruments ie: Modern Australian Awards (desirable)
Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Intermediate level experience with MS Excel and Word
Strong organisational and time management skills
High attention to detail and personal accuracy
Ability to problem solve and find solutions
Good English communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
A customer service mindset and passion to help team members.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently and with accuracy in a busy environment
Unrestricted working rights in Australia, with eligibility to work without sponsorship
