About the role

We’re looking for a Project Manager – Traffic Signals to manage small to medium projects and support the delivery of traffic signal design services.

In this role, you will:

work closely with customers, engineers and internal teams to plan, coordinate and deliver projects on time and to a high standard

balance competing priorities, manage stakeholder expectations and ensure work is delivered efficiently and in line with customer and business needs

use reporting tools and dashboards to track project progress, identify risks and critical paths, and take action to keep projects on track.

A key part of the role is maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and supporting smooth delivery across the signals team.

Selection criteria

You're someone who has:

experience managing small to medium projects through the project lifecycle

strong stakeholder and customer engagement skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build effective working relationships

good understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling and risk management

strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track progress and manage competing priorities

ability to use data, reporting tools or dashboards to monitor project performance and support decision-making.

Qualifications and experience

You'll bring:

experience relevant to project delivery, engineering, transport or infrastructure environments

a relevant tertiary qualification (desired).
