About The Role
As an Account Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day operational delivery for customer accounts, ensuring vehicle movements, reporting and communication run smoothly.
You will act as the primary point of contact for our customers, providing regular updates via email and occasional phone calls to resolve queries, provide progress updates or handle escalations. Working closely with Sales, Operations and external stakeholders, you will help keep vehicle activity on track and ensure contractual timeframes are consistently met.
Much of the role involves tracking vehicles through operational systems and Excel-based reports, coordinating updates across operational teams, and keeping customers informed of progress or delays throughout the vehicle journey.
This is a role for someone organised, proactive and confident - someone who enjoys coordinating activity, solving problems and building strong working relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing regular email updates on vehicle status, progress and any delays
Serve as an escalation point and liaison between Sales and Operations
Build strong relationships with operational teams including workshops, bodyshops and logistics, proactively chasing updates and confirming vehicle locations when required
Attend customer review meetings and conference calls as required
Coordinate and monitor vehicle movements to meet contractual timeframes
Track vehicle activity using Excel-based reports, including managing vehicle lists, updating registration data, and maintaining accurate tracking spreadsheets
Process and manage vehicle collection requests from vendors
Ensure all vehicles are collected within designated SLAs
Work closely with logistics teams to coordinate collections, deliveries and re-deliveries
Support day-to-day operational delivery across centralised accounts
Produce accurate vehicle updates and account reports
Compile and distribute internal and external reports
Maintain and update internal systems and vehicle tracking platforms with precision and attention to detail
Identify potential sales opportunities within accounts
Support relationship management and customer retention
Contribute to service improvements and operational efficiencies
What We’re Looking For
You’re confident speaking to customers at all levels and can handle escalations calmly and professionally
You can manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines and stay focused in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
You build trust quickly and collaborate effectively across departments
Accuracy matters to you - especially when handling data, reports and customer information
You’re confident working with Excel and operational data, maintaining tracking spreadsheets and producing accurate reports
You understand business priorities and can spot opportunities to add value
You take ownership of your workload and embrace change positively
