We are seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead the design, development, and delivery of clinical technology solutions supporting care management, provider integrations, and regulatory workflows.
This role will drive end-to-end engineering delivery, partner closely with clinical stakeholders, and ensure development of scalable, compliant, and high-quality healthcare applications aligned to business outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Delivery & Execution
Lead end-to-end delivery of clinical applications from design to production
Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release execution
Ensure delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals
Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers
Clinical Domain Engagement
Collaborate with clinical, provider, and operations stakeholders to understand workflows
Translate clinical requirements into technical solutions and system capabilities
Support solutions across:
Care Management platforms
Clinical workflows and authorizations
Provider integrations and reporting systems
Engineering Leadership
Lead and manage a team of software engineers, leads, and QA resources
Define and enforce coding standards, design principles, and quality practices
Drive high-quality software development across design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance
Mentor team members and support career growth
Architecture & Technology
Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
Ensure systems are scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant
Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, automation, and AI capabilities
Stakeholder Management
Act as primary engineering contact for clinical initiatives and programs
Collaborate with:
Product Managers
Architects
Clinical SMEs
Platform teams
Ensure alignment between business priorities and engineering execution
Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
Healthcare regulations
Security and audit requirements
Follow governance processes such as:
Change management
Risk assessment
Status reporting
Operational Excellence
Ensure high availability and performance of clinical systems
Drive:
Incident management
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Continuous improvement
Implement monitoring, alerting, and reliability practices
Program & Capacity Management
Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and prioritization
Align engineering roadmap with clinical business objectives and strategic initiatives
Support AI-enabled and platform-first transformation initiatives within clinical systems

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Typically 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering
3+ years of people management experience
Experience leading large-scale enterprise applications
Technical Skills
Solid experience in:
Java / Python / Microservices architecture
REST APIs and integration patterns
Databases (PostgreSQL / Oracle / NoSQL)
Experience with:
Cloud platforms (Azure / GCP)
Kubernetes / containerized deployments
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Solid understanding of:
System design and distributed systems
Performance optimization and scalability
Domain Skills
Experience in Healthcare / Clinical / Provider domain (preferred/required)
Understanding of:
Care management workflows
Clinical data integrations
Regulatory and compliance requirements
Leadership Skills
Team management and mentoring experience
Solid stakeholder communication and collaboration
Ability to manage cross-functional and global teams (US + India)
Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with:
Healthcare platforms (Facets, HealthEdge, etc.)
AI/ML applications in clinical workflows
Data integration platforms (ETL, APIs, vendor integrations)
Exposure to:
Agile delivery models
Regulatory reporting systems
