About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our high-performing Marine team in Henderson, WA where we bring together engineering, design, systems integration and platform management capabilities to sustain the Collins Class submarines. Responsibilities of this role could include:
Provide input into work schedules.
Provide Preventative & corrective maintenance services for the Collins Class Submarine WDS, SSE, APU & WDHTR.
Provide input into system engineering review to improve reliability, maintainability and availability of the equipment.
Liaison with internal and external customers to ensure timely action of emergent work.
Review of maintenance and technical documentation to ensure currency and accuracy.
Provide feedback on Maintenance and quality processes.
Ideally you will have
Australian Citizenship with NV1 security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Trade.
Current forklift licence
Current manual drivers’ licence
Understanding of quality principles and procedures; and
Understanding of submarine and ship systems.
