Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will assist with production activities, equipment setup, and cleanup of processing areas to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Follow daily work instructions from the Lead or Supervisor

Adjust and remove product from conveyors as needed

Monitor product quality and report deficiencies to the Line Lead or Supervisor

Clean work areas, machines, tools, and equipment

Suggest improvements for controlling labor and supply costs

Maintain strict adherence to quality, safety, legal, and food‑safety standards

Follow all company policies, procedures, and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Maintain strong safety awareness and report unsafe conditions immediately

Complete all tasks as assigned

Education, Skills & Experience

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Skills & Experience

Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts

Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals in a team environment

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and constantly changing environment

Ability to speak and write basic English

Ability to follow simple written or verbal instructions

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand for extended periods

Frequently required to walk, talk, and hear

Use of hands for handling tools, objects, and controls

Frequent reaching, climbing, balancing, tasting, or smelling

Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted and 51–100 lbs assisted

Must have close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts

Frequent exposure to airborne particles

Occasional work in high or precarious places

Exposure to hot or cold temperatures depending on the area

Noise level ranges from moderate to loud

The approximate pay for this position is $21.63/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
