Job Description: Account Manager, Brand About the Role: Zeno Group Canada is seeking a fearlessly creative Account Manager to join our Brand team. This role is responsible for acting as the day-to-day client contact, actively managing multiple projects and programs both strategically and from a budgetary standpoint. A smart writer and editor, you’re a creative thinker and doer, ready to support the team and help ensure consistent excellence in quality of work delivered to clients. The Account Manager will play an active role in collaborating with the team and mentoring junior staff. This is a hybrid role working from our Toronto office or remote from Montreal. Responsibilities: Play a critical role in developing communications plans, demonstrating the ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client programs; actively support execution and manage progress, including tracking goals and reporting. Serve as the daily client contact across multiple accounts, acting as an agency representative and addressing client issues effectively and promptly. Research, write and edit media materials, including media pitches, creator briefs, interview prep docs, fact sheets and more. Regularly pitch media for campaigns and new product/service launches. Continuously build relationships with media, influencers, and internal business partners to meet client needs. Lead creator programs from start to finish, including research, selection, contract negotiation, review and reporting. Understand key client information, including general business strategy, industry issues, products and services offered, key customers and competitors in the marketplace. Support the operational performance of accounts, ensuring high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and managing account finances. Support, plan and execute events for clients. Coach junior team members and demonstrate the ability to supervise and delegate tasks as necessary. Communicate with your account team to keep them abreast of timelines and deadlines. Actively participate in brainstorms and assist with new business as needed. About You: Bilingual, professionally proficient in English and French. Between four to five years of consumer PR experience; agency experience is strongly preferred. Possess strong presentation skills. Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content. Detail-oriented, you thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to “think on your feet”. Energy is your middle name - you show initiative and operate effectively both independently and within a team. Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals. Known for your leadership experience, you mentor and develop junior talent by providing feedback, holding them accountable, and supporting the review process. Bachelor’s degree. Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building a network of industry contacts, and participating in relevant professional organizations. This posting is for an existing vacancy. Pay Range: $65,000 to $75,000 CAD/yr. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits. In accordance to Ontario's Employment Standards Act (ESA), salary posting ranges can not exceed a $50,000 CAD differential and are required for any role with a maximum salary below $200,000 CAD. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
