2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/ Feed Mill Technician

Job Description Summary: We are looking for candidates with technical expertise to join our team as a 2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/Feed Mill Technician at Athens, Alabama, Feed Mill. This Position will be responsible for Ingredient requisition, operation of processing equipment, and coordination of feed dispatch.

Job Description:

Reviews feeds, orders, and inputs data into spreadsheets

Schedules, Records, and Files reclaim feed request

Operates scale house and receives BOL for all ingredients

Coordinates/pairs loads and Dispatches drivers to farms

Delegate workload to drivers, while trying to evenly balance driving hours

Reviews feed mill bins and farm bins to ensure a fluid unloading process

Inputs ingredients, vendors, and customers in the Control program

Operate equipment, including receiving, batching, grinding, pelleting, and loadout.

Complete FDA reports

Maintaining Bio-Security Protocol at all times, along with routine sanitation

Obtain week-ending inventories

Engage in weekly Plant fumigation

Operates equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, sweepers

May perform other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor

Job Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of business English and Arithmetic

Computer Experience is necessary, fluid in Microsoft Excel.

Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees

Ability to perform task with accuracy and efficiency

Ability to maintain records, and to generate reports which require extreme accuracy

Ability to multi task in high stress environment
