Sales & Banquets Assistant
About the role
Responsible for supporting the execution of the sales plan for rooms and banquets for a mid-size hotel and casino. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience and demonstrated knowledge of marketing, sales, and guest services. Hands on experience preparing and presenting products and/or services to individuals and groups events. The hospitality business requires demonstrated communication skills in English and Spanish.
What are we looking for?
Minimum two (2) years in in the Hospitality Industry.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, hotel administration, business o related area
Previous marketing and sales experience
Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
Ability to work on your own and in teams.
Computer literacy required/Spreadsheet/Excell/Power Point/Publisher/ Word/Opera
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Fully bilingual
