About the role

Via is on a mission to create public transportation systems that provide far greater access to jobs, healthcare, and education. Our platform serves as the technology backbone for modern transport, transforming antiquated and siloed public transportation systems into smart, data-driven, and efficient digital networks. With hundreds of agency partners around the world, Via is recognized as the leading transportation technology and service provider globally.

As the VP of Partnerships, you will set the strategic vision and lead Via's commercial and partnership efforts across France & the Benelux region. You'll be responsible for driving growth, deepening relationships with public transport authorities and private partners, and shaping mobility ecosystems that are inclusive, sustainable, and tech-enabled. This is a senior leadership role with significant influence on regional strategy, market positioning, and cross-functional alignment.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy to Via’s footprint across France and Benelux, aligning business objectives with local market dynamics and government priorities.

Lead and inspire high-performing commercial teams, fostering a customer-centric culture focused on maximizing new business, renewals, expansions, revenue growth, and long-term impact.

Serve as a trusted executive advisor to public transport authorities and private operators, translating complex mobility challenges into strategic opportunities across Via's full platform — on-demand, paratransit, Citymapper, and more.

Collaborate closely with global and regional Product, Finance, Expansion, and Marketing teams to tailor offerings, drive innovation, and maintain competitive advantage.

Represent Via externally as a thought leader in mobility and transportation, engaging in industry forums, public speaking, and strategic partnerships.

Actively research the competitive landscape — identifying market, product, and pricing trends — and succinctly share findings with key stakeholders to ensure that we’re always one step ahead

Who You Are:

15+ years of overall experience, including an outstanding track record in enterprise software/SaaS sales or a strong background in consulting (including strong public sector relationships), preferably in fast-paced product-driven environments

Fluency in French and English is required; Dutch language skills are highly desirable, but not a must.

Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams of 10+ highly skilled employees and driving revenue growth in complex, regulated markets.

Exceptional strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution.

Outstanding communicator and negotiator, skilled at engaging C-level executives, government officials, and diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted partnerships in the public sector, navigating procurement, funding, and policy landscapes.

Superb commercial intuition and exceptional judgment — you know when to push and when to yield in maximizing the value of a potential deal

Passionate and relentless about growth; you’re not deterred by setbacks and enjoy the process of building high-value relationships over time

Willingness to travel frequently (25-50%) across the region to meet with partners and stakeholders.

What We Offer:

Joining a global employer with over 750 mobility deployments in 50+ countries

Becoming part of a company that was awarded for its commitment to social good

25 days of vacation per year + RTT

Access to meal vouchers through Swile

Medical, disability, and life insurance are covered by Via

Competitive compensation including stock options

There has never been a more exciting time to be on the cutting edge of public mobility. Ready to join the ride?
