About the role

Joby Aviation is looking for a hands-on engineer who doesn't stay in their lane. You'll join our Ground Support Equipment team in San Carlos, working on the off-aircraft systems that keep our VTOL aircraft flying: charging infrastructure, thermal conditioning equipment, and the embedded controls that tie it all together. This role lives at the intersection of electrical, mechanical, firmware, and software. The best candidates we've hired are just as comfortable writing embedded C++ as they are reading a schematic or bolting together a prototype. Built something complicated on your own time?
