Salary: $89,007 to $98,991 – ASO5 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 12 Months

Overview:

The accountant is accountable to the Manager Corporate Support for:

Assisting with banking related services across the SA Health Portfolio in liaison with Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) to ensure compliance with whole of Government contracts, Treasurer’s Instructions, and other relevant legislative instruments.

Assisting with DHW Finance’s shared services relations with Shared Services SA (SSSA).

Assisting in negotiating and implementing process improvements (SA Health wide)

Ensuring operational compliance with frameworks, procedures and guidelines

A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
