Collins Aerospace is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager who will lead a procurement team through our dynamic procurement processes, standards, and operational strategies. As a Procurement Manager, you will set objectives and guide others on RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and/or program execution. You will reviews prices, manufacturing processes, and contracts and make recommendations for changes to ensure a successful procurement process.

What You Will Do:

Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and/or program execution.

Directs programs for effective vendor selection and management with a view to minimize purchasing costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply.

Reviews changes in price trends and manufacturing processes and makes recommendations to ensure successful procurement process.

Manages resolution of client issues or problems.

Monitors and coordinates suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.

Authorizes purchase orders, negotiates prices and approves payments to support the procurement process in large territories.

Reviews and assesses request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to help determine need for changes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Prior experience in supply chain, operations, procurement or related field.

Prior experience utilizing SAP

Advanced English proficiency with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in both spoken and written English.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Familiarity with FAR and DFAR regulations.

Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Experience with procurement lifecycle from quote to delivery.

Understanding of compliance regulations, import/export rules, and government procurement procedures.

Experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting sectors.
