Full-Stack Software Engineer

Multiple long-term opps & positions can be based from any major city, working with modern technology including AI tooling.

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors.

FinXL is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join FinXL's expanding Software Engineering practice. We have multiple positions available which can be based from any major city, deploying you with a leading Wealth Management client on a key transformation engagement.

FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.

Responsibilities

Analyse, develop, test, implement, and support delivery using the Agile framework

Deliver significant technical enhancements through design, technical analysis, and coding

Perform thorough root cause analysis and complex problem resolution

Proactively monitor alerts and maintain continuous application improvements

Ensure all delivery aligns with business purpose and strict governance obligations

Key Skills & Experience

Up to 10 years of software development experience across the full lifecycle

Strong, mandatory experience in core Java development and Hibernate

Solid full-stack capabilities utilizing Angular for front-end development

Deep database expertise with a critical focus on MongoDB and MariaDB

Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and modern web technologies

Proven hands-on experience with unit testing and test automation

Strong background in Continuous Delivery

Any experience within Wealth Management or financial advisory would be highly desirable.
