We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Assistant to join our pharmacy team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care through medication management and quality control processes.
Repackaging Operations
Plan items for repackaging and prepare worksheets
Perform repackaging of products i.e. paste a barcode label onto each unit of the product.
Perform deblistering of product i.e. remove tablets/capsules from the blister.
Top up finished product into storage bins in pharmacy.
Equipment Maintenance
Maintain strict cleanliness protocols by cleaning and disinfecting repackaging equipment ie deblistering machine, ATDPS, tablet counting machine.
Inventory Control
Perform cycle count, stock take expiry date check and housekeeping in pharmacy and Omnicell.
Pick products for top-up into Omnicells cabinets.
Monitor, order and receive stocks in pharmacy.
Upload data to update inventory system.
General
Help promote a working environment of collegiality and effective teamwork.
Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Head of Department
Requirements:
Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred.
Ability to follow strict protocols and grooming standards.
Good time management skills.
Team player with good communication skills.
