As a Technical Material Planner, you will be responsible for the global planning, coordination, and monitoring of materials for international projects. You will ensure that hardware, consumables, and multi-use products are available at the right place and at the right time, thereby contributing to smooth pipeline inspection operations worldwide.
Responsibilities
Determine and plan material requirements by monitoring inventory levels in SAP
Plan and coordinate all project-related components and ensure the timely availability of materials (including spare parts) based on bills of materials (BOMs)
Coordinate the return and storage of materials after project completion
Perform daily project monitoring and collaborate with Project Managers to resolve schedule, material, and data discrepancies
Track internationally shipped project materials to ensure on-time delivery
Identify and resolve material shortages or other material-related issues and communicate transparently with internal stakeholders
Execute all material-related transactions and bookings within the ERP system (SAP)
Participate in meetings to align and coordinate upcoming projects and work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements
Completed vocational training in Warehouse Logistics, Materials Management, Engineering, or a related field
Professional experience in material planning, material coordination, or a technical environment
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
Good MS Office skills
Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
Very good German and English language skills
