Displays Application Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Displays Application Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the application and integration of automotive display systems into vehicle platforms. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and performance of display technologies.

Internal cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., sales, manufacturing, engineering)

OEM customers

Strategic suppliers

Key Objectives of the Role:

Application Management: Oversee the application and integration of automotive display systems into vehicle platforms, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers regarding display applications, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving.

Validation: Conduct validation testing of display systems to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve customer technical issues related to display applications, providing support during development and production phases.

Requirements Management: Define and manage application requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and project goals.

Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for application designs, test plans, and validation results.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance application performance and reduce development time.

Team performance metrics.

Timely completion of application projects

Compliance with application requirements and specifications

Customer satisfaction and feedback

Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers

Key Year One Deliverables:

Provide technical solutions for customer display products.

Implementation of cost-saving measures without compromising quality

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with equivalent experience.

7-10+ years of experience in launching automotive display applications.

Strong understanding of automotive display technologies, application principles, and validation techniques.

Exceptional project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Expertise in high-level system analysis.

Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) to effectively collaborate with global teams and customers.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, PowerBI, and SharePoint).

Skilled in collaborating with suppliers for part selection and negotiation.

Bonus: Understanding of hardware architectures and implementation for various products.
