About The Role:
As an Account Manager within Retail, you will play a crucial role as the liaison between our organisation and our clients. You will ensure we are providing excellent customer service and delivering works to the contract specifications. This role requires a full UK driving licence and will involve travel between our client sites across the UK so the role is itinerant with a base location of our Head office in Ipswich, Suffolk. The hours are flexible, 8 hours per day Monday to Friday but predominantly 9am to 5.30pm.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ensure that all works are delivered to the contract specifications/SLAs and provide technical and operational support to direct reports.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, relevant stakeholders, staff, and external bodies to aid business development and retention.
Create and implement account plans to meet client objectives
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and resolving any issues
Track account performance and provide updates to both clients and internal teams
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
You will be a highly motivated, self-starter who can work autonomously and deliver against tight deadlines. You’ll enjoy working with data and delight in providing relevant and accurate reporting to support operational decision-making.
You will also have:
Excellent communication skills including presentation and written report writing
You will have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
Strong IT skills including MS Office 365 skills, particularly Excel
