We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative individual to join our growing finance team at Ripple. The Senior Manager - Finance will be involved in all aspects of lcoal and global operations and will support critical initiatives to facilitate the expansion of the company's financial infrastructure.
In this pivotal role, reporting to the Regional Controller, you will be immersed in all aspects of our operations, working closely with internal and external partners at all levels. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Responsible for the delivery of Brazilian & Bacen GAAP reporting including implementing accounting processes related to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close including P&L, Balance Sheet, variance analysis, and management reports
Prepare and submit all mandatory BACEN reports under the COSIF framework, including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings, ensuring full compliance with current regulatory requirements and deadlines
Deliver finance transformation initiatives by working with the broader team in the design, testing, and roll-out of automation to finance systems/tools/processes to build for scale
Localize new product initiatives for local reporting requirements including technical memo preparation and system setups
Work with external advisors to understand new laws and regulations across LATAM and their impact on Ripple's business and structure
Support Accounting, Financial Operations, Treasury, and cross-functional teams for finance related matters and business needs
Build strong business partnerships and manage service levels agreements, including the review of work performed by outsourced parties
Manage the delivery of ad-hoc projects as directed by management
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
7+ years of progressive experience in a role in the Payments, FinTech, or Financial Services space
Proven hands-on experience preparing and submitting Regulatory Reporting within a licensed financial institution
Solid knowledge of Brazil, Bacen and US GAAP, including multi ledger reconciliation
Prior experience of Technical Accounting Memo preparation, preferably in a FinTech company
Track record managing projects with effective communication across department and jurisdictions
Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA)s
Strong written and communication skills along with the ability to influence internal and external partners
Preferred experience:
Experience with cross-border payments and FX
Prior experience in a multinational environment, managing the interface between local Brazilian statutory requirements and foreign parent reporting obligations.
