Responsibilities:
Job Role Requirement:
Strong experience in Automotive full vehicle design and development, vehicle integration, and cross-functional program leadership from concept development through SOP, ensuring delivery of quality, cost, performance, and timing targets.
Desired Skills Required:
Strong experience in automotive full vehicle design and development across Body, Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Powertrain, and Electrical/Electronic systems.
Should have hands-on experience on CAD tools like CATIA, UG-NX and PLM system.
Proven experience working on global OEM vehicle development programs across multiple phases of the product lifecycle, including Concept, Design, Development, Validation, Industrialization, and SOP.
Good understanding of the complete vehicle development lifecycle from Concept, Feasibility, Design, Development, Validation, Industrialization, and SOP.
Experience in vehicle integration, packaging, interface management, and engineering change management.
Knowledge of product development processes, including APQP, DFMEA, DVP, PPAP, and problem-solving methodologies.
Should have know-how on regulations like FMVSS and ECE
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage technical deliverables, quality, cost, and timelines.
Exposure to vehicle testing, validation, and production launch activities.
Strong stakeholder management, customer interaction, and supplier coordination skills.
Excellent technical review, issue resolution, leadership, and communication abilities.
Should have worked on RFQ’s and proposals.
