Lead I - Software Testing (Automation testing + API Automation + Healthcare)

Role description

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (API Testing - Java, Rest Assured, Selenium, Healthcare FHIR)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API testing using Rest Assured and Java, along with exposure to Selenium. The role focuses on validating healthcare applications and FHIR-based API integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured

Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of REST APIs

Validate API payloads, headers, authentication, and responses

Execute end-to-end integration testing across healthcare workflows

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance in healthcare systems

Create and maintain test cases, test data, and reports

Identify and track defects using tools like JIRA

Collaborate with development and integration teams

Participate in Agile ceremonies

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Java + Rest Assured (mandatory)

Hands-on experience in API testing (REST/JSON/XML)

Basic to good experience in Selenium (for automation framework support/integration)

Knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, and API validations

Experience in automation frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber)

Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins, Git, Maven)

Healthcare / Domain Skills :

Experience in Healthcare domain

Strong knowledge of FHIR / HL7 standards

Experience validating FHIR APIs (JSON payloads, schema validation)

Understanding of integration and interoperability workflows
