Lead I - Data Engineering

Role description

Primary Skills: Tableau, SQL

Description:

1) Perform analysis and deep understanding of existing Tableau reports, KPIs, calculations, filters, parameters, and data sources.

2) Support Tableau report migration activities (e.g., Dev QA Prod)

3) Translate complex business requirements into efficient Tableau data models and visual analytics solutions.

4) Write and optimize complex SQL queries (joins, window functions, aggregations) to support reporting and performance needs.

5) Validate migrated reports to ensure data accuracy, KPI consistency, and functional parity with source systems.

6) Identify opportunities to optimize dashboard performance, reduce extract size, and improve query efficiency.

7) Support UAT and post migration issue resolution, including data reconciliation and defect fixes.

8) Create and maintain technical documentation for dashboards, data sources, and migration processes.

9) Enforce Tableau best practices, governance standards, and security rules across reports and environments.

QUALIFICATION

Graduates having Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering

Experience in IT services working as a software developer

US Healthcare knowledge/experience.

EXPERIENCE

Interest in taking ownership on products and projects.

Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges.

Needs to possess excellent communication and people skills.

Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure.

Interest in studying and learning new things.

5+ years of work experience as a Tableau developer with strong SQL knowledge.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Tech Stock Required: Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep (Good to have), SQL

Skills: Experienced Tableau professional with 5+ years of expertise in SQL-driven analytics, dashboard development, and end to end Tableau report migration.
