The Role
This is a great first step into supervision. You'll be looking after our patient contact and call team day to day supporting the people around you, keeping an eye on call quality, making sure shifts are covered, and still taking your own calls alongside it. You don't need to have supervised a team before. If you're organised, calm, and good with people, we'll give you the training, support and time to grow into it. It's a hands-on, working supervisor role, so you'll always be close to the team and the calls.
Key Responsibilities
Keep an eye on call quality review a second batch of 20 calls per agent each week and share simple, friendly feedback (we'll show you how).
Help out Practice Managers - when a PM asks for calls to be checked, review them and let them know how they went.
Support the floor - be a first port of call for the team during the shift, helping with questions and trickier callers.
Sort cover - take same-day sickness calls, log them, and rearrange cover so the phones stay staffed.
Help run the rota - build a fair, rotational roster, including an even weekend rotation, with support to start.
Take calls - carry your own call load and lead by example on the phones.
