About the role

Overview

The Room Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing hotel room revenue by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives. This role focuses on generating new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving occupancy and revenue goals while delivering the exceptional hospitality standards associated with Hilton.

Duties

Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy.

Qualifications

Identify, solicit, and secure new business from corporate accounts, travel agencies, group bookings, and other market segments.

Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.

Conduct hotel site inspections and sales presentations for prospective clients.

Negotiate room rates, contracts, and group agreements in accordance with hotel policies.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.

Collaborate with the Management, Front Office, and Marketing teams to optimize room sales.

Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses.

Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings to promote the hotel.

Ensure all sales activities comply with Hilton brand standards and company policies.

Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual room sales targets.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry, ideally in hotel

Extensive hotel management experience with a focus on sales, reservations, or front desk operations.

Strong background in revenue management, budgeting, and managing financial operations in a hospitality setting.

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly preferred to enhance communication with diverse guests and team members.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems such as Delphi, PEP

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet sales deadlines.
