Finance Associate – Manufacturing Costing supports costing and financial analysis activities across a global manufacturing network. This role works closely with a U.S.-based Finance team to deliver accurate cost analysis, reporting, and insights. The analyst will assist in standard costing, variance analysis, and data reporting while building foundational knowledge in supply chain finance and manufacturing operations.
What You Will Do
Manufacturing Costing Support
Assist in maintaining and updating standard costs for products across manufacturing sites
Support monthly variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) to identify cost drivers
Prepare cost reports and reconcile data for month-end close activities
Investigate basic cost discrepancies and escalate issues as needed
Reporting & Data Management
Compile and validate data from ERP systems to support cost analysis
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across systems
Maintain documentation for costing processes and reporting templates
Deriving responses to cost inquiries
Global Supply Chain Collaboration
Work with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Operations, Finance) to gather inputs for cost analysis
Support analysis of material costs, freight, and supply chain expenses
Financial Planning & Support
Assist with basic scenario analysis under guidance from senior team members
Support ad hoc financial analysis requests
Continuous Improvement
Participate in standardization efforts across global locations
Support automation initiatives using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
What You Will Bring
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field
1–2 years of experience in finance, supply chain, accounting, or data analysis
Experience in a shared services or global support model preferred
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis concepts
Advanced English
Core Competencies
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Analytical mindset with willingness to learn manufacturing costing concepts
Effective communication skills, especially in a remote/global team environment
Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines
Collaborative attitude with a customer-service mindset toward internal stakeholders
