Job Description – Associate Manager – Finance
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Experience: 2–5 years (Post Qualification)
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team as an Associate Manager – Finance. The role involves managing the accounting, financial reporting, and compliance of our Canada and US-based entities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teams. Candidates with prior experience handling overseas entities, particularly North American companies, will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping for multiple Canada and US entities.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements, consolidation schedules, MIS reports, management reports, and variance analysis for leadership.
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and general ledger activities.
Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve accounting and financial reporting matters.
Support statutory audits, financial audits, and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting timelines.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute towards automation and strengthening finance processes.
Handle ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements as requested by management.
Skills & Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
2–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) is mandatory.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including functions, Pivot Tables, lookups, and data analysis.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and business stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience in an IT/ITES or other service-based industry is preferred.
Experience handling accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation for Canada and/or US entities will be an added advantage.
