Supply Chain Finance Analyst

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Supply Chain Finance Analyst at our site in Cavan.

This role reports to the Senior Finance Business Partner and provides financial expertise, reporting and analysis to support the financial and operational performance of Obela’s Operations and Supply Chain functions.

Responsibilities:

Support the financial and operational performance through weekly KPI and monthly reporting, month-end close activities, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning

Responsible for the delivery of accurate, quality data, reporting and analysis while driving standardised financial and operational processes across the site.

Oversee SAP master data and BOMs, support NPD costing and capital projects and ensure effective inventory and fixed asset controls

Support the Senior Finance Business Partner by attending and validating fixed asset, critical spare and inventory counts, ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with control requirements.

Liaise with the Reporting and Planning team ensuring accuracy and clarity of key site results and planning

Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and wider PepsiCo Finance teams to analyse performance against budget, forecast & prior year while identifying cost-saving opportunities

Deliver clear, actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Provide cost accounting expertise and insights to ensure standard costs are accurate and continually maintained in accordance with approved policies.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2–3 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar position, with experience supporting finance functions in a manufacturing or FMCG environment

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.

CPA/CA qualified or studying towards completion.

ERP experience (SAP B1 used at Obela) - preferred but not essential.

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey financial information and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
