Logistics Supervisor
About the role
This position will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and supervising logistics performance across BW Energy operations to ensure efficient resource utilization and reliable support for offshore activities. The role involves developing logistics KPIs, dashboards, and management reports while consolidating operational data related to marine and shorebase services. Additionally, the supervisor will monitor compliance with contractor SLAs, analyze consumption indicators, and act as the focal point for logistics digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring, analyzing and supervising logistics performance across BW Energy operations, ensuring efficient utilization of logistics resources and support to offshore activities
Develop, maintain and follow-up logistics KPIs, management reports, dashboards and performance indicators to support operational and strategic decision-making
Consolidate and analyze logistics data related to marine operations, shore base activities, inventory management, material movements and contracted logistics services
Monitor operational performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement across logistics activities
Monitor logistics resource utilization, including vessels, shore base services, inventory levels and contracted services, ensuring operational efficiency and performance
Monitor and analyze logistics-related consumption indicators, including MGO, water and other operational resources, supporting efficiency and optimization initiatives
Monitor compliance with contractual clauses, service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs and performance commitments established with logistics service providers
Support the monitoring of logistics expenditures through analysis of resource utilization, consumption trends and contract performance
Develop performance reports, presentations and management summaries related to logistics operations, contracts, inventory and operational support activities
Act as focal point for logistics digitalization initiatives, supporting implementation and continuous improvement of systems, reporting tools, automation solutions and business intelligence platforms
Ensure integrity, accuracy and reliability of logistics data, reports and performance indicators
Support audits, assessments and compliance activities related to logistics operations and contracted services
Identify, report and follow-up non-conformities, performance deviations and improvement opportunities related to logistics processes
Support the development, review and implementation of logistics procedures, controls and performance management processes
Ensure that relevant requirements of the Management System are used as the terms of reference for the activities controlled
Undertake training relevant to the position requirements
On-the-job training of colleagues and trainees
Assist in any other work specified by Department Head
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or relevant area is desirable
Experience:
Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, offshore operations support or a similar position
Previous work in a multinational oil company is desirable
Knowledge:
Knowledge of logistics performance management, KPIs and reporting
Knowledge of logistics contracts and service level management
Knowledge of inventory, materials and supply chain processes
Advanced English communication
Power BI knowledge is desirable
Knowledge in IFS is desirable
